What critics are saying about ‘Star Wars’ spinoff ‘Rogue One’

What can you expect in the first-ever Star Wars standalone movie? Unlike last year’s The Force Awakens, the new spinoff Rogue One: A Star Wars Story arrives in theaters Thursday night with less fanfare and even more secrecy. Well, the reviews are in, and the action/adventure film has earned a thumbs up from 83% of critics, the grading equivalent of a low B, on review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes.
