  1. Anyone know how frequently these shorts will be released? Will they each tie together into single story arcs like the old Clone Wars shorts did?

Everyday on YouTube for the first 8 episodes (started on July 3rd). Then they'll start re-airing them on Disney Channel starting on July 9th. The remaining episodes will air sometime in the fall. I think only 16 episodes have been confirmed thus far. Having seen the first three, it appears to be mostly "kid friendly" deleted scene/alternate take/filler stuff of things from the movies and TV shows for trivial plot points.

  3. According to this one, a single Ewok weighs EXACTLY AS MUCH as TWO stormtroopers, and adding a 5' 1" slender human apparently is akin to adding a boulder.

Also, the Ewoks, who are notoriously badly dressed with frayed edges everywhere on their hoods, are master seamstresses, accurately judging only by eye. Why didn't the Empire conscript them into sweatshops instead of just leaving them to wander around?

Because Disney didn't want to steal the climax of The Three Amigos, a title semi-stolen from the cartoon starring Donald, Jose, and Panchito.

  5. Finally, after more than 30 years, we get to see the full origin of Leia's Ewok gown! Now that a three decade old plot hole has finally been filled, I can rest easier at night.

So are they going to keep these up until every single second of our heroes' lives is accounted for onscreen?

Seriously, though, I find these pretty enjoyable. Forgettable, but enjoyable. Kind of reminds me of watching the old Droids and Ewoks cartoons, where you were entertained, but never really felt like anything important was going on.

My only real complaint is the voice actor they chose for Leia. Couldn't they have found someone who sounds just a little bit like Carrie Fisher?

Apparently, it's not even the voice actress from Rebels (whom I thought sounded decently like Carrie's).

I am eagerly awaiting Yarna's short video, as well as Dengar's wife. But if the Tonnika sisters get their own, I'll download it to save 4evr!

Nah, next episode will be about Aunt Beru and how she makes the blue milk for Luke's breakfast. (Hint: It involves womp rats and Boo Berry).

Those people weren't conscripted, they volunteered.

That's The Three Caballeros, itself a sequel to Saludos Amigos, and they appear now in It's A Small World.

Only when it sells toys to girls.

    Agreed!
