During the inevitable clearance pricing on this very expensive product, if the price goes low enough, I just might be tempted to consider it. It seems like it could double as a Death Star play set and it slightly reminds me of the Palitoy version from a million years ago.
Uh, "could" double as the DS? It has a "trash compactor" feature! I fear that Episodes VIII and IX will just build bigger Death Stars, maybe with multiple laser dishes or stacked on top of each other like Death BB-8Stars. 😮
Making this thing spherical wastes a lot of potential play space and forces this to be fairly 2-dimensional. I suspect Maradona's right and this will be a clearance special.
