As Star Wars fans take their first steps into the larger world of The Mandalorian, a warrior’s tale set after the fall of the Empire and before the rise of the First Order, writer and executive producer Jon Favreau has taken to his personal Instagram account to give us our first glimpses from the set. StarWars.com has compiled all of Favreau’s updates so far, including the very first image which they debuted.

  1. The Mandalorian better be Sabine Wren.

    It is supposed to be about a Lady lead character in the armor. An effort to be inclusive could be managed without inventing another character that fans will have to get used to.

    Sabine and she is cartooned in Rebels could very well be Asian and she colors her hair different all the time.

    If the actress stays in character and we have references to Kanan and Ezra and Hera and Chopper and possibly Zev, let alone Thrawn and live-action Noghri, as well as the possibility of the survival of Boba Fett, it could be very cool.
