THE EMMY-NOMINATED ANIMATED SERIES RETURNS FOR ITS SECOND AND FINAL SEASON PREMIERING ON DISNEY CHANNEL SUNDAY, OCTOBER 6.
Kaz, Tam, and the rest of the crew aboard the Colossus station are making the jump to lightspeed for an epic second, and final, season of Star Wars Resistance this fall. Star Wars Resistance Season Two will premiere on Sunday, October 6, (10 p.m. EDT/PDT) on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW, with subsequent airings on Disney XD.

I’m guessing it’s creative editing to make Ithano look like a bad guy, but they really run into him, hunting Separatist tech, wherever it is that those Battle Droids are. I hope Kix shows up with him and blows everyone’s minds.
I saw the first two episodes (somehow, I forgot to watch #1 when it first ran; forgot about the change to Sundays I suppose). More suspense (still the slipstick from season 1), interesting blend of TLJ plot details. It will also be interesting to see how characters mature.
It feels like an actual Star Wars series now, and not a series set in the SW galaxy.
The mine dragons (forgot their actual name) episode where Flix returns to his home planet for fuel was an odd mix of family-always-loves-you and over-the-top semi-unrealistic action scenes that SW: Resistance has become lately. And no mention of the FO really at all. I liked the visuals of the mines, elevator, tunnels, cloud storms.
Man; FO security is atrocious! Anyone can just fly right out of a hanger. And how can the Fireball NOT get blasted out of space flying so slowly. I am still trying to figure out just HOW Tamara will leave the First Order; it is blatantly obvious, just the ‘when’ or ‘why’ reasons.
I’m still leaning toward “Palpatine and the real Imperial remnant are secretly using the incompetent First Order to soften the Republic.” The Empire was never portrayed as stupid, the First Order is pretty regularly.
