Anakins Fall (speculation)
Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kanobi is locked in a duel with a black masked Sith Lord in a hanger high above a run down sector of the city-planet Corusant. Senator Padme Amidala is watching the fight from a distance, her eyes struggling to keep pace with the movement of the two lighting-fast combatants.
After a long and fierce back and forth battle Obi-Wan manages to knock his black clad opponent to the ground. Both Padme and Obi-Wan stare in shock as the Siths’ helmet falls off to reveal her husband and his former apprentice, Anakin Shywalker. Anakins’ face is almost unrecognizable to them, as it is twisted in the sickening smirk of a man corrupted by the Dark Side of the Force.
Anakin Force-pushes his dumfounded former master to the edge of the landind platform. Obi-Wan lands hard on his back with a thud. His lightsaber falls out of his hand, slides acrooss the floor, and falls over the edge of the platform. Anakin wills his own red-colored blade into his hand and runs over to the prone Obi-Wan. He raises his weapon over his fallen mentors’ head, ready to deliver the kill blow.
Obi-Wan- (Looking up at Anakin) I’m sorry I wasn’t able to give you the guidance you needed, Anakin. (He lloks into the tempast raging in his once pupils visage. He closes his eyes.) I forgive you.
Just as it looks as if Anakin is about to slash Obi-Wan in half, Padme pulls her blaster from her holster and aims it at her crazed mate. Sensin this, Anakin turns to look at her. His face is a mask of hate and anger, bearing only a passing resemblance to the man she pledged her love to. Tears welling in her eyes, she closes them and pulls the trigger, hitting the disbelieving Anakin Skywalker dead center in the chest. -
