eBay fraud alert
To anyone on here who has an eBay account – if you recieve an email from “eBay” reguarding possible “problems” with your account and information, DO NOT respond to these emails or fill out the forms. These emails are from a fraud and quite frankly, horrible hacker. The emails will ask you to fill out your information for for various reasons, however, DO NOT do so. There are a number of things that are contained within the bodies of these emails that give away the fact that they are fake and are from someone trying to get your eBay account information and email passwords. My mom recieved one the other day and she has gotten a few of them since, however she contacted eBay themselves and they have addressed the fact that these emails are not from eBay (in one of the emails was a link to a supposed eBay email address, and when you put your cursor over the email title, a Yahoo email address is displayed towards the bottom of your computer, thus whoever this hacker is he’s/she’s not very good!). So to anyone on here who has an account on eBay and has recieved or might possibly recieve one of these emails, this is just a heads-up, DONT FILL IT OUT, report it to eBay!!!!!
