The latest irrational attack is in regard to Senator Obama’s TRUE and VERIFIABLE comments regarding citizens of Pennsylvania. What he said about said citizens isn’t in question by anyone. However the intolerant Religious Right Republican Party has decided to redefine the word “elite” as something inherently bad.

WTF?! Seriously, what kind of utter moron would genuinely want someone to be President of the United States who is decidely just as ordinary as they are? Really. Me? I WANT someone who can legitimately claim the title of being “elite.” I want people running this country who are smarter than I am, who can speak multiple languages, who can spell correctly, who can speak eloquently, who have common sense, who don’t pander to the most base instincts of ignorant and intolerant society. I want leaders who don’t pretend to know everything, who are willing to listen, who aren’t intolerant toward others who aren’t exactly like them, who want to see our society and our world progress instead of retreating into Middle-Age’s type fear and ignorance.

I WANT someone who is elite. Why does this scare the Religious Right Republican Party so much? Do they really want someone certifiably stupid in the White House? Is that their true wish? What the hell is wrong with people?! Are they that threatened by smart people that they honestly want someone as dumb and ignorant and ordinary as they are running the White House?

    I don’t get it.
