It’s a stinky time to be a Republican!
Oh… those poor Republicans! Look how they are going to save the United States! Yes, they promised to bring us all sorts of God-spun goodness and love to all who subscribed to THEIR beliefs (as if there weren’t any other). They promised to keep the gays down. They promised to put the terrorists out-of-business. They promised to get Osama Bin Laden. They promised to turn the economy around (which they did… ‘cos it was kinda fine for most Americans until they came along). They said that they weren’t only about big business, oil or supporting only the rich. They accused all the Democratic politicians of wrong-doing.
Well…
The divorce rate is still up and the gays aren’t even allowed to marry. People now actually hate/scream at/fear other people who have other spiritual beliefs and automatically think they are going to “hell” because they aren’t “Christians”. Because hate is SUCH a Christian virtue.
The terrorists are still active and just hitting other targets that AREN’T in the United States.
They still haven’t gotten Osama Bin Laden. How hard is it to find a 7-foot tall man who’s dragging a dialysis machine behind him when they have spy satellites that can see an ant sh*t on a speck of dust in someone’s basement in the middle of Manhattan??!!! Oh, that’s right… he’s in the country that we elected to NOT attack.
People have less money than they did 6 years ago and fewer jobs are available because the Republicans are sending jobs overseas and making companies so top-heavy that they can’t afford to pay a decent wage to actual workers and people are scrambling to make meager ends meet by having to find more than one job!
CEOs of companies are getting their a**es kicked and thrown in jail for various scandals and thievery. Come to think of it, so are a lot of Republican senators, governors and other state/community leaders. Ooooh… reputable! Oil prices skyrocketed for a number of fake reasons and are now dropping. Hmmmm… funny how that coincides with the diminishing popularity of their party and the upcoming elections in November! That’s a speculative arguement but I digress– Mark Foley publicly condemned people who acted the way that HE did just a couple years ago. Enron CEOs were sent to jail for basically robbing the American public.
Hmmmm… either Republicans are sloppy or completely stupid. They aren’t doing a very good job and they are getting caught at it! Now, I’m not suggesting that Democrats aren’t guilty of some things BUT it seems like a lot of stuff is coming down on the party at this moment. Yeah… payback’s a beeeeyatch!
