Let’s Tax the Rich!!!….but how much?
i’ve seen it mentioned in this fourm more than once that the divide between rich and poor is too big…….that the rich horde too much wealth……that the rich don’t pay their fair share in taxes……and on and on………
how would you like to see the wealth redistributed?
to get the discussion started, i’ll play devil’s advocate……..
i guess i’d say no individual can make over $1 million a year. any income more that that is taxed at 100%. and no individual can have over a $10 million net worth. this includes cash, investments and real estate, but is not limited to just these.
anyone making under $100,000 a year would pay no tax…anything between $100,000 and $1 million would be taxed at 50%.
what do you guys think? this would be a great way to lower the gap between rich and poor, and would stop those rich folks from hording money……..and at the same time, the “poor” and “middle class” would pay no tax at all……..and as long as the rich played along, and kept working for free, there would be enough everything for everyone!!!
