Man lept into lion’s cage at zoo to convert big cat to Christianity – true story
I just saw this on the news and forgot to listen to all the details because the video was quite captivating.
A Christian wanted get up close and personal with the lions, continuing an ancient tradition that dates back to Rome
Climbing into the lion enclosure at the zoo, the man approached the big cats and tried to bless them and thought he could open their minds to Christ and that they would be then able to communicate with him.
The did communicate with him. The male and female lion cornered him during a great show for the other zoo spectators (well, I don’t know if the zoo officials let everyone else watch), and the man, his back up against some of their sleeping rocks in their enclosure, was repeatedly swiped at by the male lion who sort of appeared to take the lead on being territorial in their enclosure home.
Of course, “miraculously” the man suffered only scratches on his arm when they finally got him out of there by shooting both lions with tranquilizer darts.

I just can’t help but laugh imagining some of our forums members trying to do something like this – maybe with President Bush’s help, they could succeed and return all of God’s creatures to worshiping their lord as would the king of the beasts.
