Hasbro is coming out with Leia and Xizor in a 2-pack. A recent Q&A recognized that fans want Guri and our own polling for figures-most-wanted backs that up.
A recent Q&A with Hasbro suggests that Guri is either confirmed already, or on the short-list for EU figures. With Xizor coming out with Leia in a comic 2-pack, I’d suspect that Guri would be released with Luke (Tan Vest) in a 2nd SOTE Comic 2-pack. It’s the most sensible thing to do. Chewie (as Snoova, but appropriate height this time), a Dash Rendar resculpt, possibly a Lando / Luke trooper disguise 2-pack with better articulation could also be on the horizon. Hasbro also said they wanted to do a Bothan. While Borssk Fey’lya is an excellent choice (HTTE, NJO), Koth Melan is as well (SOTE spy master). Leebo would make an excellent package with Dash Rendar, so I’d recommend

Guri / Luke (Tan Vest)
Luke Trooper / Koth Melan
Dash / Leebo
Chewie as Snoova (right height) / Lando Trooper
Big Gizz / Spiker (Jabba’s Swoop Gang)There were 6 issues of the comic adaptation to SOTE in its original release anyway. This works out perfectly.
While I’d like new Black Sun thugs to answer to Xizor, you can use random alien figures of course.
Other players in SOTE, like Boba Fett, IG-88, and Darth Vader do not need yet another action figure. :rolleyes: Use what you’ve already got!
Man, except for the Virago, IG-2000, and a correctly scaled and featured Outrider, maybe a re-release of the SOTE Swoop and Slave-One, this whole deal wraps up SOTE nicely – after 12 years, too! Well, it’d be 14 because Hasbro couldn’t come out with all this stuff until 2010 anyway (if they started right now). But man would it rock!!!
