I hate being British right now. Aside from the awful weather growing wave of xenophobia and fascism, upsurge in morbid obesity, rising cost of living, scandalously low level of education, pathetic political system and all the avoidable health issues. There’s the anihilation of the industrial infrastructure. the fact that most people know more about the lives of characters in soap operas than the lives of their neighbours. These islands are a joke. Our futile presense in the middle east. rapidly diminishing supplies of fossil fuels. oblteration of the farming industry. outsourcing of businesses to non english speaking countries. the way i feel right now it would be easier to just slide the UK off the continental shelf and let it sink deep below the Atlantic ocean.
