Super Wal-Mart Madness
I had some time to kill today after classes so I drove a little
out of the way from my usual route, and hit a Wal-Mart I only
visit infrequently. And can you guess what I found?
The entire FX-7 wave. They had 3 of every character. I picked
up all 4 (FX-7, Queen’s Decoy, Rebel Trooper and the Imperial
Officer) and headed to the scanner. I know that the Wal-Mart
2 miles from my house has $3 Ketwols and Obi-Wan Jedi
Training (but surprisingly Shmi is the only one that scans at the
regular 6.44 price) so I kinda hoped, but never expected them to
scan at $3. But guess what, they scanned at $3 apiece!!! A brand new wave that as far as I know has not shown up in my area. Needless to say I was ecstatic. I had only $14 dollars on me and had originally planned to get FX-7 and the Decoy but decided to get all of them instead.Just a little note on the new figures–as you may have heard Force Files are no longer more. Instead they have all the information of the character on the back of the packaging. I also saw that the figures were priced under a peg labeled at $5.76. There were no price stickers on the packaging and the $5.76 label on the peg looked a little beaten. I donโt know if this was the supposed or real cost of the figures. If it is, then that would mean a price decrease.
Preliminary results indicate that FX-7 and the Decoy are worth the $$$. The Rebel Trooper and Officer are worth the 3 bucks I paid for it.
