    Now that Obama is at least mathematically guaranteed to become the Democratic nominee, who do you think the candidates will choose as their running mates?

    I really see McCain with Fred Thompson. They got along well enough, and Thompson has some (fading) star power and might help McCain drive the Southern vote.

    Obama is more difficult. I don’t think he’d pick Hillary; too much bad blood. I could see him choose Bill Richardson, or Wesley Clark. Richardson would help Obama with the Hispanic vote, while Clark would further strengthen Obama’s foreign policy credentials.
