Why I’m such a nice guy
I’m such a nice guy .lol. Today I drove into Orlando 37 miles to do some toy runs. At WM they had so many mace windu GR’s warming the pegs it was awful must have been 50 of them. Then they had tons of Jango FB, Vaders, No Lukes. So I go to Target and THERE right in front of me in the bare bare shelves where even Anakin OPD is scarce , IS YODA! that I’ve been looking for everywhere.He’s all beat up but I don’t care cause he’s an opener…So I’m standing there with Him and Hanger Duel Anakin(which is as rare as Dooku here for some reason.) Well a kid about 8 or 9 walks up with his Dad and was looking all throught the shelves. I ask “Who are you looking for?” just to be nosey… The kid says Yoda and…Old guy with the beard in black.. (FLASHBACK::::: 3 years ago at TRU I see a scalper with 5 Darth Mauls stacked up and this is when he was hard to get three or four weeks after the TPM got released , A kid about 6 asks him “Since you have so many I was wondering If I could get one of your Darth Mauls..I’ve been looking everywhere for one.. The scalper said ” No I’m sorry I got to the cases first which makes them mine”… and then the FAT JERK walked away.))))))))) So thinking of that thought and how I hate people like that. I said here ya go kid…here’s a Yoda. I gave it to him cause i know what a pain it is to find some hard to get figures. Especially when you are young and your begging you parents to drive you around town to all the different stores to get a painted plastic man glued on a piece of cardboard and this one was for all the kids who a scalper told NO I got to the case first and all the rest of that BS. The Kid jumped for joy and his Dad came up and told me that he had been going to 5 toy stores everyday after work since the film came out trying to get Yoda and Dooku. He thanked me alot and I said “I must be leaving but enjoy your Yoda!” and then I was gone… I’m such a nice guy sometimes I’ll get my own Yoda soon…Just going to be more patient.. Any of you have stories like these?
