I like stats, especially sports stats, but the person who has to keep track of minutes (seconds! ) in the ice or the court must have the most dull but time-stressful job out there. Two NHL defensemen, Seth Jones (1138:46) and Michael Stone (1138:55) have played those numbers of minutes on the season so far.
LA Clipper JJ Reddick had scored an nice 1,138 points on the season so far. Yesterday on Family Feud, the top two answers netted 11 for 2nd and 38 for first, but since the category wasn't too "family friendly" I didn't snap a photo due to the responses shown; I've noticed that show's questions getting much more "racy" and "adult-themed," perhaps seeking ratings.
Went to bed at 11:38 last night, which is not too unusual for me. However, I had a dream in which I ran a race. My time was 38:11. Those numbers came up later in another dream, but I can't recall exactly what it was in reference to.
As long as the race you ran was at least 5 miles, it would be a decent time, I suppose (maybe not for your expected pace). Were you running late to your math test and then started falling towards a space coyote?
My credit card points earned up to this billing period, as shown on my recent statement: 1,138.
Gold's up-and-down run continues, as it rose to close at $1,138.10.
Not within the parameters of this thread of course, but the Texas Rangers have both scored and given up exactly 666 runs on the MLB season so far. Call them the Devil Ray-ngers, and move them to Satan Tonio, TX!
Being a numbers thread: in a week that includes a Friday the 13th, today I took in my 2013 model car for an oil change with 13,013 miles on it. Then tonight, the Penguins score 13 seconds into their game.
At the halfway point of the school year, if my math memory is correct, I have collected $569 in recyclables. Double that for a whole year, and you get $1138. That's awesome, in at least two different ways!
WR Brandin Cooks had 1,138 yards receiving for the Saints, RB Fitzgerald Toussaint had 11 rushes for 38 yards in the first half of last week's Steelers game, and Morgan Burns had 1,138 yards in kick returns for Kansas State.
