Journey to TLJ cards

I think you're right. Can generate spoiler-free cards from the upcoming movie, and pull classic pix from previous series. Then through in the different colored borders, and you can go on for a while.

I bought the $4.99 back at Target. Sixteen cards in the pack. Got one duplicate.

I bought two 6-card packs (no dupes! ;) ), but didn't see any larger packs, only the 10-pack box. They look nice, mixing the old card borders, and the new TFA images are quite interesting. I'll just look for an online set.

In the past week, I've seen more of the individual packs available for sale, particularly at Target.

I haven't looked to see how much a complete set is...yet.

I bought a couple of more packs last weekend.

There's a big comic show next month. Hoping to find a complete set at a reasonable price. If not, I'll go online.

Attended a toy show over the weekend, and one vendor had a complete TLJ card set -- subsets and all -- for sale. I passed because of the price. I can get a base set waaaaay cheaper and be satisfied with that.

While at Target over the weekend, I noticed something on a box of TLJ cards. Pics of Vader and Anakin. A little foreshadowing of the movie?

An email revealed that the TLJ card set is out, as of 12/15. It's 100 cards in the base set, with the obligatory color parallels, 5 subsets, and stickers. I haven't been out looking, but I figure Target is the best place again (I hope so).

I found some packs (16 pack for $4.99, 6 pack for $1.99) at Target today. They look nice, but the storyline cards have just the card title on the back, no info. The character cards have their names and a little background about who they are or what they did in the film. I'll seek out a set online, I think.

There's a particular BAY found Electronically. I check with search phrases and Boolean removal terms to narrow the results. I can then look through dozens instead of hundreds of auctions.

One negative about some of the card backs: no info., just the card's title repeated. BOOOO!!!!
