One of the more surprising announcements of E3 2019 was that Limited Run Games had made a deal with Disney and Lucasfilms to re-release several Lucasarts Star Wars games. Some of these games are on newer consoles in which the game may have seen a digital re-release, but not a physical re-release (like a physical re-release of Star Wars: Bounty Hunter on PlayStation 4, originally released on the Gamecube and PlayStation 2 and later re-released digitally for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4). Other games will be re-releases on new replica cartridges for the same system the original game released on (like Star Wars on the NES).

The list of games is as follows:
  • Star Wars™ (NES, Game Boy)
  • Star Wars™: Bounty Hunter (PS4)
  • Star Wars™: Dark Forces (PC)
  • Star Wars™ Episode I: Racer (PC, N64)
  • Star Wars™: The Empire Strikes Back (NES, Game Boy)
  • Star Wars™: Jedi Knight (PC)
  • Star Wars™ Jedi Knight II - Jedi Outcast (PC)
  • Star Wars™ Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy (PC)
  • Star Wars™: Racer Revenge (PS4)
  • Star Wars™: Rebel Assault (PC)
  • Star Wars™: Shadows of the Empire (PC, N64)
  • Star Wars™: TIE Fighter (PC)
  • Star Wars™: X-Wing (PC)

The Bounty Hunter physical disc copy is $30 and limited to 7500 units.

However, the game is still available digitally on the PS4 store for $10.

This is the same PS2 game, it just runs an emulating engine with upscaling to 1080p, and has added trophies. It's been available on PS4 since 2015, but not on physical media.

SOTE is still one of the most entertaining, memorable Star Wars games to this day. That collector's edition looks fantastic, although I have no N64 in which to put it.

I have the LucasArts port of SOTE on PC from GOG, but it has issues.
