I believe it was 2015, according to my records, the last time I shelled out over $3 for gas (quite a few $2.99 prices in between there, though). I settled for $3.19, which was $.40 less than the station nearest me (but still only a mile away; worth it to save that much per gallon).

$3.35 is the lowest regular price around here, Costco is $3.28 right now. I drove up the grapevine this weekend, lowest I saw was $3.05 both in a rural I5 freeway station and at an urban Costco up north, highest was nearly everything else in central Cali at ~$3.95.

Prices goin' up 'round here; tried to get $3.25 at Costco... the online price was wrong, the lines were insanely long and I got stuck between cars AND the card reader at the pump wouldn't work. So, I tried a different station the next day: that price now at $3.35. Ugh. Most others are around $3.70 or so. Boo.

Back to my "regular" Costco today: $3.35. Prices showing occasional drops around here.

[edit: 7/10/18] Prices seem to have stabilized (around $3.49-3.79), but I got the $3.35 cash price down the street (although, 3 pumps were out-of-service... guess which ones I tried first?).

[edit: 7/16/18] Near Costco once more, no line at my pump at all, price was lower at $3.29. Nice!
