Where 'text' & 'friend' are nouns
I have often merged threads, especially ones about books, to combine similar ideas. But this "new" book (for me, as I just got around to reading it after its Sept. '17 release) deserves its own thread: Stormtroopers: Beyond the Armor, by Ryder Windham & Adam Bray.

I thought it was another in-the-SW-universe chronology of stormtroopers and how they affected the galaxy. But it's an amazingly-detailed coverage of just about EVERYTHING related to them in that world and ours. How they made the armor costumes based on McQuarrie's work, how the actors handled them on-screen, making toy versions, putting them in written and video stories, the 501st and other fan-created costumes, and more etc.s than you can shake a gaffi stick at. One of the best SW books I have ever read, in my 30+ years of reading Star Wars books; no exaggeration.

Read it, then you can go about your business. Move along; move along.
