Hasbro The Force Awakens Vehicles Leak – UPDATED

There has been a leakening.  Have you felt it?  Three Hasbro vehicles from The Force Awakens have hit the net.

The first two sets follow the example of the Class I vehicle-and-figure sets that Hasbro has retired over the last few years.  Neither vehicle has appeared in any official imagery, but take heavy inspiration from previous iconic Star Wars vehicles.  Whether or not they’ll be in The Force Awakens remains to be seen—as with upcoming figures from the original films, the new film’s name does not appear on the packaging—but they’re available for purchase on eBay.

Elite Speeder Bike with Stormtrooper

A black speeder bike reminiscent of OT concept art that has also been repurposed on Rebels. The stormtrooper has black armor with red stripes, similar to the TIE Fighter and pilot. The figure is a little more action-oriented, but still 5POA. It looks like may have been built off of the 2012 TRU Speeder Bike, since it has the same opening hatch and similar details. Note that the handlebars have been modified with a vertical stick to accommodate the non-moving wrists. Both vehicles have little forest symbols and Aurebesh in the bottom right corner.

Assault Walker with Stormtrooper Sergeant

This looks a lot like the AT-RT from Revenge of the Sith and The Clone Wars. The image on the back shows a similar vehicle, but it’s more detailed. The stormtrooper sergeant has the black pauldron we’ve seen in official images, which follows the sandtrooper ranks from A New Hope and Rebels. He stands in the vehicle due to his limited articulation.

First Order Snowspeeder with First Order Snowtrooper Officer

This vehicle was posted on Facebook.  The snowspeeder—quite a departure from the T-47s of The Empire Strikes Back—fits two troopers, one pilot and one gunner.  The included Snowtrooper Officer includes a pauldron, removable backpack, blaster, and soft goods skirt.  This box includes the blue signage of the snow-themed products, themed around Starkiller Base.  This box does include the new film’s name, and it’s a larger box than the others, indicating a different vehicle assortment.

These vehicles will be available in stores worldwide on Force Friday, September 4.
