Today SirStevesGuide.com has launched a re-designed site that is mobile friendly and a number of enhancements.

SirStevesGuide.com

New features: MOBILE! Mobile is the future so we have made our content management system mobile friendly. We can now post news (easily) from anywhere. That means more news! For our users, just visit the site in any mobile browser and see the responsive design (it will fit to your screen accordingly).

Of course, we still have our social presence at Facebook and Twitter so be sure to follow us! If you prefer the old-fashion RSS feed, we also have that covered for you.

Database: We are bringing back the database! Well, technically it never went away… we just did not keep it maintained. However, we have a completely new system with features that make us want to keep it maintained. The new SSG DB will bring detailed product information, photos, wish lists, compare option, and reviews. We also welcome Mr. JabbaJohn to the SSG staff and he will be maintaining the database. John has been a very active Forum user and moderator for years so he is no stranger around here and he knows Hasbro Star Wars.

We still have a little tweaking to do here and there but we felt it was ready for you now. Just to note, this is also a stepping stone to bigger things… we will make our network site ActionFigs.com utilize the same technology and we can then (finally) connect the two together so we can push our Star Wars headlines to them automatically. Let us know what you think of the new re-design in the comments section below!

  1. Thanks! :p I’ve been working on the Database reviews for a little while now and I’m excited to debut them soon. Steve has a very cool revamped system in place and I want to make the reviews the most comprehensive ones around. It’s also been great fun helping out with Toy Fair coverage these last few days.

As for the forums, everything should be back up and running now!
