This Friday, the world premiere of the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer will be revealed at select North American theaters.
The Bad Robot Twitter feed posted a photo note from JJ Abrams, promising “A tiny peek at what we're working on—this Friday in select theaters.” It also states that the teaser will be 88 seconds long.

There’s almost no way that the trailer won’t also be at other chains’ locations. It seems that Regal jumped the gun on reporting this, but their report doesn’t say that it’s exclusive to them or anything. If the idea is to blanket as many films and screenings as possible, it will undoubtedly play at more than nine theaters.
I’ll be back in Colorado for Thanksgiving, so I’m hoping for a trailer in Denver!
