After revealing Star Wars Land earlier today at D23, Disney followed up with further Force-filled park plans, and our own JediTricks is there covering the details.
The new Star Wars Land will feature an all-new planet. Everything in the area will be in-story, including rides, stores, and food.
Before Star Wars Land is opened, Disney has other plans for boosting Star Wars content at both Disneyland in Anaheim and Walt Disney World in Orlando.
The existing Star Tours ride will add a new destination from The Force Awakens.
Jedi Training Academy, the popular stage show where would-be padawans face off against the dark side, will also be updated.
Star Wars Launch Bay, recently revealed for international parks, will be added to the domestic locations as well.
Building on Walt Disney World’s Star Wars Weekends, Season of the Force will be a similar limited-time event in both domestic parks. During this time, Space Mountain will become Hyperspace Mountain, with digital projections and soundtrack additions. Orlando will have custom Star Wars fireworks.
Thanks to JediTricks for the coverage!
