The Mandalorian & Grogu Journeys to the Big Screen

The Mandalorian and Grogu are embarking on a new adventure — to movie theaters.

Directed by Jon Favreau and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni, the production of The Mandalorian & Grogu is scheduled for 2024. Jon Favreau expressed his love for storytelling within the expansive world created by George Lucas and his excitement for bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the big screen. Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm, praised Favreau and Dave Filoni for introducing two new and beloved characters to the Star Wars universe and stated that this new story is a perfect fit for the cinematic experience. The Mandalorian & Grogu will take the lead in Lucasfilm’s ongoing feature-development slate, which includes projects by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, and Dave Filoni, who is also currently working on Ahsoka Season 2.

This is the Way.
